Sirius "Smart Charge" Traction Battery Chargers are designed to charge Traction Batteries so that "Battery Life" is increased. This "Smart Charge" Technology compensates for battery age, ambient temperature, mains voltage variations and depth of discharge. The unique "Smart Charge" evaluation circuit monitors the state of charge of the battery and automatically terminate the charging when battery is 100% Charged. This means no Over-Charge or Under-Charge and hence Extends Battery Life. Suitable for "Opportunity Charging" (short time charging when vehicle is idle, to increase duty cycle)
